On September 26th around 11am, Tina Benkiser announced her reisgnation as Chairman of the Republican Party of Texas effective October 5th, 2009. She will be dearly missed as she has served as a courageous leader for the Republican party for many years.
Tina will be leaving the Texas Republican Party to serve on Rick Perry's re-election campaign.
The SREC will be filling the vacancy within 30 days of her resignation.
